Costa Rica Motorcycle Adventure Tour
In our 6 day guided Costa Rica off road adventure tour explore the enchantment of Costa Rica’s lush environment and its varied terrain and altitudes on the seat of a dirt bike. Ride up to 500 miles through a network of gravel trails and dirt roads.Travel along the coast and then up into the mountains. Stay in hotels along the way and enjoy the destination activities, zip line through the jungle canopy and raft the Pacquare River.

RIDING GEAR is Obligatory. Unless you want to bring your own set you can rent our high quality Acerbis and Sidi boots from Motonation gear: helmets, goggles, gloves, jerseys, pants, boots, chest protectors, knee protectors.

» YOUR DETAILED TOUR SCHEDULE:
» Day 1
Arrive to San Jose, Costa Rica. We will pick you up from the airport and take you to your hotel. Meet the guides over dinner and enjoy your first night in country. Celebrate, but be sure to get enough rest for the ride tomorrow.
» Day 2
Eat breakfast and depart the hotel by 8am. You will be on the motorcycle by 9am. Start your tour heading out east toward Miramar, covering approximately 120 miles along paved and gravel roads.
After lunch you may enjoy the winding roads while on your way to a remote mountain lodge, the Hotel Vista Golfo. Enjoy the view of the Gulf de Nicoya and the surrounding country side.
» Day 3
Today will be an early start as we get you onto an incredible zip line tour of the forest canopy. Experience first hand both the sensational views and the adrenaline rush. After the zip line tour we will get on the bikes and we’ll head out to Manuel Antonio, a famous Costa Rica National Park.
The ride will take you along the coast and with time permitting there will be some off road sections available. Arrive around midday to the hotel in the National Park, grab lunch and hit the beach for some relaxation.
» Day 4
Start your morning ride at sea level and climb the Western Mountain Range, up 8,000 feet to the region of Los Santos. Shortly after riding through the villages you will get onto the Pan-American Highway and head off towards Costa Rica’s religious center of Cartago. Your final destination will be a lodge in the Orosi valley, famous for its quality coffee.
» Day 5
Today will be your final day for activities in Costa Rica, and we will provide you with your choice of excursion.
Option A: Dirt biking between 2 volcanoes. Ride on gravel trails and enjoy some steep technical riding as you near the Turrialba crater. Break for lunch at the lodge, and continue on to the Irazu volcano. This option will give you the greatest amount of dirt bike riding.
Option B: Motorcycle through coffee plantations to the spectacular waterfalls in the Tapanti National Park. Enjoy a fresh meal, and on your return to San Jose you will get the chance for some gravel trails.
Option C: Travel to Turrialba for a day of white water rafting down the Pacquare River. After 3-4 hours of rafting you will be transported back to San Jose for your final night.
» Day 6
Enjoy a breakfast and return flight to the U.S.A
Your guide might not be available during bar and dinner excursions. But he will be there and ready for the next day and lots of riding.
