Our Baja 1000 or 500 Ride

Take a 3 day ATV or Dirtbike Tour from San Diego down to Baja California Mexico to ride on the beach and beautiful trails and then even visit the famous Baja 500 Race in June....or the 1000 in November thrill of a life time. Package includes your choice of Atv/Quad or Dirt Bike, offroading on great trails and the sand dunes by the beach and to see the Famous Mexican Desert Rally Baja 1000 / 500.

You will get to ride trails and sand dunes yourself and you will get to see the amazing riders and vehicles of the epic Baja 500 race, right out of the movie "From Dust to Glory".Riders of all levels will get the chance to explore remote trails and to enjoy fascinating mountain views... and much more...the simple beauty of Baja California, Mexico. A great resort, lobster dinner and nice beaches are awaiting you just 60 minutes from San Diego. A great get away for riding addicted, but definitely not limited to such.If you would like to add another day of riding, let us know, we can arrange it.

Tour Schedule:


Day 1 9:00-9:30 am Depending on your personalized tour arrangements, our friendly guide will pick you up at either your choice of hotel or at the International Border. Meet our guide, board the van and we are on our way! Take the time to watch the scenery pass by, there are some very unique notable sites to view.
10:30 a.m. Check in at the hotel. Arrival at the sand dunes & distribution of gear bags; your professional tour guide will give you detailed instructions on how to ride an ATV or dirt bike. Kick up some sand and get comfortable on the vehicles. Roll along the rocky beach or make your way up to the highest dune peak. Explore the beautiful sand dunes next to the Pacific Ocean.Don’t forget to bring your camera!
12:00 p.m. Have you worked up an appetite yet? We will stay on our vehicles as we meander our way through the back streets of Puerto Nuevo. Go slow and watch out for puppies and children! We will spend our lunch time at our favorite authentic taco stand. Reflect on the past few hours or do some people watching.
1:00 p.m. After lunch we offer you your choice of riding terrain. Provided the morning went smoothly and you have a good grip on how to ride your chosen vehicle, you may decide you want to attack the rugged mountain trails. We can ride a variety of trails, mellow to aggressive. The trails are certainly a more rugged terrain, providing you with new and incredible views in all directions.If you decide to pass on the mountain trails this time, we will return to the sand dunes where you can continue to explore the 3.5 sq. miles of sand. I’m sure you didn’t get to see it all before lunch!

5:00 p.m. After a day of full day of riding our guide will return you to the Resort and give you directions to restaurants and shops. Take the time to freshen up. Once you are ready be sure to explore the restaurants in the area. Afterwards enjoy an evening in Mexico, at a local bar, or in the Jacuzzi.Note that for 2 Day Tours, the guide will not be with you for evening excursions. If you feel you will need the guide, speak with us when we book your tour so we can specialize the tour to fit your needs.

Day 2

5:30 a.m. We will take a nice drive along the coast to Ensenada and with every mile the beauty of the landscapes can be seen much better as the sun rises over the mountains in the east and the light starts to reflect in Pacific ocean in the West.At arrival in Ensenada the full madness reveals itself. The Baja 1000 race starts there. We will take a look at the Teams, Racers and equipment that is designed for victory over man and desert.With loud roaring engines the Race Trucks start the Baja 1000 / 500 at 7 am !Then the motorcycle Baja 500 or 1000 race starts.Then the ATV's and different offroad vehicles like dune buggies and the amazing 700hp Trophy Trucks will start this race of 1000 miles through the Mexican Desert.12:30 p.m. Lunch in Ensenada can be a nice snack or a full on fancy meal in a famous  Restaurant in Ensenda. It is your call.
We will now enjoy Ensenada. La Buffadoras. or Go back to go riding. This will be customized to your desire.

Day 3

9:00 a.m. Enjoy a breakfast at the hotel, if you need more time ask the Front Desk about a late check out.
>10:30 a.m. Our guide will meet you at the hotel, hope you got enough sleep because we've got a full day to go riding again!
Do you want more sand dunes? How about the rugged mountain trails? Because we have an extensive network of trails, we won't take you to the same one twice- unless you can't get enough of one specific trail!12:30 p.m. Let's refuel for lunch. We will revisit our favorite spot, try something new... it's all delicious. 1:30 p.m. Ready or not, let's go for more! Continue riding for a few hours.Around 5:00 p.m. Board the tour van and depart to San Diego. Take in the scenery one last time. This tour can be a once in a lifetime experience, so make it last longer anyway you can.
If you would prefer to remain in Baja just a bit more, we may enjoy another dinner in Mexico before heading back to San Diego. Let us know! This is your tour, we are here mostly to maintain safety and ensure fun and adventure.Schedule times are negotiable.

A set up fee of $35/person applies to all tours.
Please bring Passport or birth certificate (recommended) for kids or passport for non US citizens.

» This tour happens in Nov. and June of each year.
There is no minimum number of people required, the group size varies, usually there is 5 guests per guide.

» Gear: SAEFTY GEAR IS OBLIGATORY. Unless you want to bring your own set you can rent our high quality Acerbis and Alpine Star/ Sidi gear: helmets, goggles, gloves, jerseys, pants, boots for only $45 for 3 days.

» Payment/Cancellation

All bookings must be accompanied by a non-refundable 10% deposit of the total trip cost (credit card).
Final payment is due BY CHECK upon arrival.
Credit Cards are accepted for final payment for a 2% service charge.
If you cancel 24 hours before the trip, only your deposit will be forfeited.
Cancellation within 24 hours before start of tour will be charged full payment.
