• Iggy’s Son of the Beach: A club with a South Pacific theme and a

• Club Animale: 4000 people capacity

• Club Maya: Club Maya is the newest multi million dollar beach club
resort in Rosarito, Mexico, with amazing VIP Service and sections
that feature a 12 person Jacuzzi and Plasma screens through the
whole club and restrooms. This state of the art night club holds a
capacity of 6000 people strong on a beach front property with a
mechanical bull and surf machine to entertain the crowd and a
state of the art sound system and light show. This club is 18 and
over and features some of the best drinks and service on the
beach.

• Rosarito Beach Hotel: If you are looking for a more relaxed vibe,
check out this place. A favorite spot of Jimmy Buffet and a great
atmosphere.

Taxi's

Can be easily attained by asking your hotel lobby to call one for you. They run throughout the night and should cost you between $15-20 to get to Rosarito from Puerto Nuevo.

Puerto Nuevo

Walking distance from your hotel “Grand Baja Resort” is the famous Lobster Village Puerto Nuevo. There you will find several excellent Lobster restaurants. We recommend the “Ortega’s Patio”.

You get there by entering Puerto Nuevo through the main entrance (the arch) and go all the way down the street. It is the second to last house on the right hand side. You can stroll through town for souvenirs after dinner.

Rosarito

If you plan on eating in Rosarito, the town 10 minutes north of your hotel, you have a choice of the following restaurants:

• La Casa de la Langosta (The Lobster House) If you are looking for a great lobster dinner, then one good reason to go to Rosarito is this restaurant located in the heart of Rosarito. You can enjoy lobster in many forms including omelets and burritos. The all-you-can-eat Sunday brunch buffet is a worthy excuse for starting the day here. On Blvd Benito Juarez in Quinta Plaza.

• Chabert's While seafood is common in Rosarito, most places have a casual setting, but there are exceptions, none better known that Chabert's. Step inside and gaze up at the huge chandelier in the foyer and you'll know there's nothing ordinary about this restaurant, housed in a fully restored mansion. Entrees include rack of lamb, chicken Kiev, roast duck, steak and lobster. Rosarito Beach Hotel, Blvd Benito Juarez, near the south end of town.

• La Flor de Michoacan In a town where so much has changed, La Flor de Michoacan remains a reliable constant. The world needs more taquerias like this, a local institution since 1950. The homemade flavor is hard to top at any price in the carnitas, tacos, burritos or tortas. They now have two locations to serve the folks who know good, back to the basics Mexican food when they taste it. • Dragon del Mar Chinese Restaurant is absolutely beautiful. As fine as you would see in San Francisco's China Town. Large menu with good food and service. • Los Pelicanos is right on the beach with indoor and outdoor dining. Serving breakfast, lunch and dinner. Very good Mexican food and fabulous steaks. Upstairs bar with great view. • Tamale Inn in the middle of Rosarito across from the Hotel Las Brisas. The Gringo's morning coffee and breakfast place. Ham steaks, chicken fried steaks, biscuits and gravy, etc.

• La Cazuela del Mole In Rosarito, where menu and pricing are geared toward the U.S. crowd, this spot flouts convention, to the benefit of all who seek honest Mexican cuisine at down to earth prices. This spot is best known for its mole, the chocolate/chile based sauce, usually poured over chicken. The breakfasts are good, too, as are the sopes and tacos dorados, and a nice sweet tamale is included with each meal. • Captain Ray's Restaurant above Puerto Nuevo. Very large portions of steaming hot lobster. He does not use lard in his recipes. Watch for the "Captain Ray's Marine Room" sign across from El Pescador. Go under overpass and take a right on top of hill and you'll see the sign. Telephone 614-1022.

• El Pescador Seafood Restaurant open 8 AM til Midnight, serving breakfast, lunch and dinner. Complete bar and very friendly staff. Just 1/4 mile north of Puerto Nuevo Lobster Village at El Pescador. Under New Management with many reports that food is very good.
