"Sometimes experiences are OK, sometimes they're fun, sometimes they exceed expectations. It was certainly the case here.'' This was exactly what Fred Newschwander said after an exciting adventure.
On this 3 days dirt bike tour, Fred and his friend Toby Dietzler visited the mountainous parts of Baja, crossing unspoiled trails, riding dirt bikes while enjoying an unusual panoramic view.
When the clock struck lunch time, these pals and the CMA staff enjoyed delicious tacos. Later on, they had fun with the dirt bikes a little bit more. After that, everyone were tired, so they deserved some rest at the hotel. Once they got there, they had dinner and some beer with the staff while having a nice talk.
On the next day, everybody woke up early and got ready to continue riding on the wild roads. The ‘74 year young’ and his buddy Toby, had another exciting and tiring day after having a 152 mile tour in a day. That night, Toby and Fred (named as ‘the real iron man’ by the CMA staff) stayed at the Coyote Cals, a surfer style hostel right on the Pacific Ocean, where they enjoyed an authentic home meal cooked by our hosts.
On the third day, our friends were delighted with this adventurous experience one more time, riding the dirt bikes along the earthy trails of Baja. After hitting the trails for the last time, Fred, Toby and the staff had a real Mexican lunch full of traditional antojitos at ‘‘La Fonda’’ restaurant at k58.
At the end of this adventurous weekend, these guys proved to us that no matter how young or old you are, you can hit 332 miles of wild roads in 3 days if you test yourself. What are you waiting for?
