Check this out if you consider driving in Mexico! You will only need your USA DL to do so. Over the past 15 years, we have driven 150,000 miles in Mexico. I would not hesitate to go right now if I wanted to or had to. I have put together some useful and interesting information on how do drive a car into Baja California, Mexico or places like Sonora and South of Texas. You can buy Mexico Insurance online in minutes without even stopping at the border. Just have your registration and credit card ready. See also our car insurance page in that regards here. We know driving into Mexico is fine. When driving in Mexico with Car Insurance you will have nothing to worry about other than getting lost. But if you drive to Rosarito, Ensenada it is only one freeway. There are only 3 turns that you should know about. That’s about it. Maps are available at local book stores and auto clubs.

We had the time of our lives. I had never ridden ATV’s, but my boyfriend is an expert. Our guide, Andrew, took the time to show me the basics and he was so patient with me, yet still made sure that the “expert” had a great time. The scenery was beautiful, amazing actually. All the locals and other staff were fantastic and I just can’t recommend it enough. As a mechanic, my guy noted repeatedly that the equipment was maintained superbly. By the end of the day, I felt good enough to keep up with the big boys, Andrew was such a great teacher. In addition, during the drive to and from the location, he acted as a tour guide, continue

South America. The unique place that is not that for from my home in San Diego via a 7h hour flight from LA. Going to South America came true due to an repeat client from Moscow that needed the letsATV vehicles and services for one of his VIP trips.
So when he called us and said hey. “Send me 20 bikes to Lima” …just to go riding in Peru and then to cross into Bolivia and later Chili i was quiet excited and also scared of the unknown. The customs, security there and while the bikes are being shipped. So at this point I am sitting over a great covina cebiche across the street from Kennedy Park in the Shehadi Restaurant in Miraflores district in Lima Peru. And the bikes made it back fine and are sitting cosy in a container on a supersize vessel with all the other goods that are being exported from this lovely country
into the United States.
Having experienced this nice trip i first want to thank our friend Sasha for using our bikes, second i want to thank our Team at www.letsATV.com for all the overtime we had to put in when riding 250 miles off road per day and then still fix all the vehicles for the next day… And all this at 12,000 feet elevation. I also want to say thank you to all the helpers to clear customs, get things organized and the many hotel owners we meet. A special thanks to Hotel Cantayo Spa in Nazca for keeping our ATV’s there for 2 weeks.
You may ask What have we seen?
We started in Lima with our bikes still in a pick up truck but shortly after Lima we hit the dirt to go to Ica. In Huachina we stayed at Hotel Mossone to get an early start to cross all the dunes to get to the Pacific Coast. An incredible ride which included sand dunes, dunes out of gravel, petrofied sand dunes, dunes that are so tall that at full throttle my Honda CRF450X cannot make. It simply runs out of power! You will not get stuck but the engine just can’t make it. It feels like riding a Honda 250EX up comp-hill in Glamis.

So that is some done riding in tell you. In the late afternoon we arrived at the ocean. What an incredible sight when we were atop a 400 meter dune (1200 ft) that ends on the beach!
Once at the beach we set up camp and put our sleeping bags in a huge cave, and some great food and went riding to explore some of the highest dunes i ever seen.
With many tries we managed to get up a dune that was 800m straight from the beach. The top of this dunes was in the clouds. Once we got up there we got pretty cold and decided to drop down about 200m to overlook the ocean, the dunes and the sunset. I have never seen / done anything like that with a motorcycle before. Ica dunes rock!
The next day will hold many surprise for us..but we did not know about that just yet in our beach camp while going to sleep in our cave… to be continued.

A great resort, lobster dinner and nice beaches are awaiting you just 60 minutes from San Diego. A great getaway for couples, families, bachelors, but definitely not limited to such.
After pick up in San Diego and a 1 hour transfer to the riding location, ATVs and dirt bikes will be waiting for you at our exclusive ranch in the mountains. Plenty of trails for riding for beginners and advanced riders with great guides with tons of experience. Check into the Grand Baja Resort or Los Pelicanos in the evening.
